What's the Difference Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

Black Friday has been a key date in shopper's calendars for many generations. This shopping holiday started in the United States and is always set as the first Friday after Thanksgiving, making it seen as the unofficial start of the Christmas shopping period. However, since the boom of online shopping in recent years, Black Friday has quickly spread around the globe and has become an international phenomenon.

Historically, the key difference between Black Friday and Cyber Monday was that Black Friday was exclusively for brick-and-mortar stores, while Cyber Monday was for online retailers only. In current times, both these events have spread to in-store and online, and has created a massive week-long shopping spree discount for customers. In 2024, Black Friday is on the 29th of November, while Cyber Monday is on the 2nd of December.
